The large rubber roller on most antique machines can be rock hard, It is advised to have the platen resurfaced if the machine will be used frequently. This greatly enhances the quality of the type, and reduces wear on the typeslugs.

This lovely Erika 12 is in very nice condition. The machine has been cleaned and checked over. The machine works great and comes with a case.
Due to the new and grippy feet, the machine will not scratch your typing surface, and will stay put while typing.
The platen is in pretty good condition, and still has life left in it.
The machine has a Dutch QWERTY keyboard layout.
