1970s-'80s Olivetti Tropical Typewriter
The large rubber roller on most antique machines can be rock hard, It is advised to have the platen resurfaced if the machine will be used frequently. This greatly enhances the quality of the type, and reduces wear on the typeslugs.

This Olivetti Tropical is in great condition. The machine has been cleaned and adjusted by a retired typewriter mechanic who has worked in the business for over 50 years. The machine works great and comes with its lid.
The machine is a Hermes Baby with the looks of a Olympia Traveller.
Due to the new and grippy feet, the machine will not scratch your typing surface, and will stay put while typing.
The platen is in very good condition and does not need to be resurfaced.
The machine has a Dutch keyboard layout.
