This set consists of:
-4 typewriter case feet
Installation of these is a bit more difficult than on cases with a wooden base. This base is made of metal, so the inserts have to be removed by bending the tabs on top of the base before pulling them out. You have to remove the felt mat first. This can be done with a flat-head screwdriver and pliers.
Installing the feet is done by pushing up the inserts while bending the tabs with a hammer. Pushing the inserts against the base is necessary to prevent a loose fit. I did this by holding them with a center punch, but other tools may work too.
Please note: I sell only the rubber parts. Any existing mounting hardware should be used again.
