With this typewriter ribbon winder, you can easily respool any type of spool onto another! This winder comes in handy, especially if you order ribbon on bulk reels.
The idle spool holder can slide up and down the shaft to accommodate larger or smaller spools (after loosening the 4 screws). The ideal distance from the winding frame is about 4.5cm. The winder can handle up to 35cm bulk reels this way
All the hardware and parts needed to assemble the winder are included except for the large discs for bulk reels. Those can very easily be made from some sturdy cardboard or thin wooden planks.
